My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a cuddle buddy who takes “full body contact” very seriously? This 3-year-old white, pink, and black beauty has perfected the art of sleeping under the covers—head poking out like a furry submarine periscope—just to stay cool.

She’s an athlete (Olympic-level jumps for bubbles), a foodie (will literally do almost anything for snacks), and a scholar (training is easy when chicken is on the syllabus). While she’s not obsessed with her crate, she’s polite about it: tolerably trots in for a treat.

Car rides? Shotgun only, please. Other dogs? Yes, especially big ones she can’t boss around (her current BFF is a 90-lb dude). Cats? …let’s just say they’re way too fun to chase.

She’s no angel—but honestly, who wants perfect when you can have hilarious, affectionate, endlessly entertaining? With her curiosity, playfulness, and giant heart, she’ll keep you laughing and loved every single day.

Requirements:
• A cat-free home
• A private dining area (her passion for food is…intense)
• Humans who appreciate cuddles, comedy, and chaos in equal measure

Are you ready to meet your new snuggle-under-the-covers comedian?

More about this rescue

Misfit Mountain is a foster-based animal rescue in the Greater Asheville area helping dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, and small animals find their forever home.

Our Story:
At Misfit Mountain we don’t just offer another chance at life, we offer our animals a home, a place where bellies are full, love is bountiful, and nose boops are the usual. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving the Western North Carolina area. Some animals just pass through until they are healthy and well enough to find their forever home. Others stay awhile, sometimes forever. We are a no kill, all love, and one beautiful mountain of loveable misfits.

Mission: We accept misfits of all shapes and sizes and are committed to providing the best quality of life and care for homeless animals in Western North Carolina.

Vision: We strive to create a no-kill animal community unless deemed medically required due to quality of life or safety concerns. We believe no animal should ever be euthanized due to financial or spacing limitations.
