But with a little bit of time and lots of cat nip and churu treats, I love to gift you with a gentle purr or a soft nuzzle. I`m quite vocal, often chatting away to anyone who`ll listen. I`m not just looking for a home, I`m looking for a companion. I love being petted (once I`m comfortable!) and I promise to be the most loving and loyal friend you`ll ever have. The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
