What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
No adoption fee, we will supply all starting supplies and food! Tora is an absolutely sweet cat that was rescued by us from rural Kentucky (a rose bush in a cemetery) and hand-fed as a bottle baby until weened. She is a doll of a cat that is cuddly, curious, and phenomenal around babies and children. However, she is quite fearful of dogs and will not be suited toward a home with them. Tora lives in a mutli-cat household and has no problems with litter box usage, scratching appropriately suited scratchers (not furniture), and eating well. She is on the smaller side, but has a good appetite!
Why rehome her, then? My husband and I are live-in caregivers for our aging, elderly parents and are relocating to a smaller, more accessible home that can accommodate their needs and need to find her a forever home. No adoption cost, we are happy to supply all starting supplies and her kibble as well for the transition.
