My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Rocky!

I am a tall, skinny young guy. I am toilet trained and crate trained, and ready to learn new commands! I know sit, laydown, and i'm working on "stay". I love to play! I good with kids, dogs and adult (I haven't been around cats in my foster home, but I would probably be more curious about them than anything). I will walk on leash well after getting past my initial excitement (I pull on leash slightly, but will follow commands to sit and redirect). I like playing fetch. I am not toy or food aggressive. I rarely bark, mostly when i'm trying to play with other dogs. My foster says I have a lot of potential. All I truly want is to be loved. If you want to snuggle, I would love too. I do require mild to moderate grooming, but I am super tolerant of the entire process. Previously, I did not receive much care in the grooming department, but that does not make me nervous, in fact, it's nice to be cared for.

My local adoption fee is $350

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
