Bear is a shepherd/border collie mix and he has the energy and instincts of a working dog. We adopted him from the shelter 4 months ago as a stray. He requires constant physical and mental stimulation and would do really well on a ranch, farm, or somewhere similar. He is very trainable. In the four months we’ve had him, we’ve taught him to sit, lay down, and shake which he picked up very quickly. He is good with people although he still needs a lot of training, especially when it comes to other animals and kids. He often plays too hard and we don’t have the capacity to give him what he needs. It will take a special person to be patient and train him but he would thrive in a working environment.
