Katpone arrived on November 11, a handsome senior tabby with a calm presence and a lifetime of stories in his eyes. At 10 years old and 15 lb, he’s a solid, steady boy who’s looking for a quiet home where he can spend his golden years feeling safe and loved.
Katpone is FIV positive, but that doesn’t stop him from living a normal, healthy, and happy life—he just needs to stay indoors and get regular vet care, like any well-loved cat. He is FeLV negative and fully up to date on his vaccines.
This sweet gentleman is ready for a soft bed, a warm window, and a person who appreciates the comfort of a loyal, mellow companion. Katpone has so much love left to give, and he’s just waiting for someone who sees the beauty in adopting a senior cat who truly deserves a gentle forever home.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
