What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Max is a nine month old German Shepherd who loves to play, has a lot of energy and is very smart. He walks well on a leash and has learned to sit and stay ( I have not tested walking and leaving him in STAY). He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war. He does not do well with other animals so he will need a home where he would be the only one.
We came to foster him after he was left after a couple split up and was left with their 75-year-old grandmother who simply could not care for a dog. His previous owners did not leave any medical records about him so I do not have those to provide
I do believe he will become an amazing companion for somebody looking for a large, smart dog that just wants to be your partner.
I have bought him a lot of toys and a bed, and I will gladly provide that to you
