Meet Gramps! What a lovely fellow Gramps is! Gramps loves to be pampered with affection and once you start rubbing his cheeks and neck he just melts and his purr motor is loud and steady. Gramps was found as a stray out in the country, where he kept trying to come in the house. Gramps is generally a happy camper as long as he has food in his belly, a soft blanket to lay on, and someone to love.

Please give Gramps a chance to win your heart. We don't know that he's had the easiest life, but we do know that he deserves to be spoiled. If you need a friend who will love you unconditionally, look no further than Gramps!

All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. To adopt you must have a photo ID and proof of your current address. If not on your ID then bring in a bill with your name and your current address. If you rent you must provide a lease clearly stating the pet policy or provide a name and phone number for your landlord so that we may confirm the pet policy. If you own your home you may provide a mortgage statement or property tax bill for proof.

You must be 18 years or older to adopt.

If you wish to adopt a dog and have other dog(s) at home, please bring them with you to the shelter so that they may meet. Even if your dog is wonderful with other dogs, many of the dogs at the shelter have come in as strays so we have no history on them and need to be sure they get along with your pet(s).
