My name is Derpy!

Hi, I’m Derpy, and I am one of the sweetest black kittens you will ever meet. My story started off rough—my sister and I were in a shelter where many of our siblings didn’t make it. Once rescue brought us into safety, I immediately began to flourish. Now I’m a thriving, bright-eyed kitten who loves nothing more than attention from humans. If you talk to me, I’ll talk right back with tiny meows and chirps, because conversations are something I take seriously. I enjoy being picked up, held close, and cuddled until I fall asleep in your arms. I'm a lap cat, shoulder cat, as long as I'm next to you kinda cat. I purr loudly to show how happy I am and how grateful I feel to be loved. I get along well with my sister and love gentle play, but I also adore curling up on a warm lap after a busy zoom session. I’m sweet, affectionate, social, and ready for a forever home that wants a loving little shadow by their side every day.

1) Go to  https://www.kittenrescue101.org/adopt/available-cats and Click "adopt" on the cat's profile you are interested in. Clicking adopt does not mean that you are adopting this cat. It will take you to an application to fill out which is the first step of the adoption process. (NOTE: If the kitten is a bonded pair, do not apply for him/her as a single kitten. These applications will not be considered) We do not adopt out single kittens. Potential adopter must have an existing young kitty

2) If your application is approved, you will receive a call back within 2-3 days with an appointment time slot. We do our best to match the cat to the best environment/family/situation as possible based on the cat's personality and temperament. We cannot call back every applicant with an update. You will receive a call if your application is selected. Thank you for your understanding.
