Rocky is an American Pit Bull Terrier/Chihuahua Mix who is being surrendered by his owner through no fault of his own. He's a very loving, affectionate and playful boy who does well with other dogs and children.

Rocky is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He tested positive for heartworms and will be treated using the slow-kill method at no cost to the adopter. His adoption fee is $275 and you can apply to meet him here: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
