Please meet Josie the 11 year old Silkie Terrier! Josie recently and hearbreakingly lost her adoptive mom, so she has rejoined us at TNT. She's understandably a bit nervous with all this disruption, but we promised to help her find another wonderful family to call her own for the rest of her days! Josie weighs about 7 pounds and she does well around other dogs. She would probably be fine with cats and kids, too. She really likes to be with people and always seeks a warm lap to snuggle on!
Josie's adjusting to her new routine, including potty routines and using the stairs in her foster home. She's not a huge fan of the crate - why stay in the crate when there are humans to hang out with?! She loves to follow the humans around, seeking attention wherever she can get it. She will do well in a home that can provide her patience and reassurance, and importantly, a warm lap to snuggle on! If you're home a lot, or willing to take her on your adventures, she will be your best bud for all of it. Her amazing ears and cute little tongue make her the most perfect pocket sized princess, and we are sure she'll win you over quickly with her sweet face! Please apply if you'd like to meet her!
