Macho is a strong, medium sized dog, who gives his whole heart. He is a devoted, protective companion who enjoys car rides, walks on a leash, and snuggles with purpose. His impressive bark deters strangers and he is vigilant to guard the home from outsiders. He takes his guardian role seriously and will physically challenge unknown individuals on your property. He does best with a confident handler who understands and appreciates a curs protective instincts and who can be patient with initial reactivity. Out on walks and at parks he is steady and non reactive to people and other dogs with a competent handler. While he has dominant energy, he makes a great, playful companion to another dog in the home when it is the right fit. He does great with two 20 min walks a day and if you can find a space for him to run, all the better. Macho is ready for adoption at Pasco County Animal Shelter.
