My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Contact my foster at: kat4swim@gmail.com

I`m sponsored! Thanks to donor support, my adoption fee will be reduced by $20!

Amber is the purrrrrfect cuddly friend! She’s social and outgoing, always a happy kitty! If you’re looking for a best friend, she’s the one for you. Amber loves people, getting pets, and being brushed. Her sweetness and kindness draws all to those who meet her. She purrs a lot when she is being pet or brushed. She doesn`t love baths, but will tolerate them (very well in comparison to most cats, aka she doesn`t scratch or bite). She doesn`t like taking her medicine, but tolerates it (again, does not scratch or bite). She likes hiding under beds and couches. She loves liquid treats and food. She doesn`t care much for toys. She likes sitting on window sills. She is litterbox trained. She has not scratched any furniture. She doesn`t mind being picked up, but she prefers to not be picked up. She doesn`t dart for any doors. She doesn`t try to eat human food, but likes to hang out while making food (doesn`t beg though).

More about this shelter

Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control's pet adoption program brings animals and people together. If you are looking for a new pet, ACC has a wide variety of animals to adopt; from dogs and cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, to the occasional snake and pot-bellied pigs. The shelter also has two specially designed bonding areas for people to interact and play with the animals they are considering for adoption.
