Meet Hefty: Big personality in a little package! Hefty was literally dumped on a volunteer’s doorstep, so he got a “trash can tough” name to match his dramatic entrance. Ironically, the biggest thing about little Hefty is his purr.
Hefty starts rumbling the instant you so much as glance in his direction. Eye contact? Purr. Passing by? Purr. Thinking about him too loudly? Purr! He’s got the confidence of a lion and the body of a leftover meatball — but don’t tell him that; he thinks he's enormous.
Hefty’s also a social butterfly. He gets along wonderfully with dogs and other cats of all ages. He’ll need to be adopted with another kitten (maybe one of his siblings?) or go to a home that already has a friendly young cat who’s ready to play.
Hefty’s dream home includes:
1. A human (or several) willing to be stared at lovingly until petting begins.
2. Plenty of naps, snuggles, and snacks to help him grow into that big name.
3. A feline buddy for wrestling, napping, and general kitten shenanigans.
