Meet Florence! This 3 year old hound is bound to steal your heart. She is the perfect mix of goofball and lovebug, always ready for a stroll outside or a snuggle on the couch. She is great with other dogs and has been a fabulous dog-tester here at the shelter. Similarly, she is especially gentle with children and has visited many of our kids` events. This sweet girl is bound to bring smiles and laughter into your heart and home - especially when she gets the zoomies out of nowhere!

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees range from $56-$86. This includes vaccines, flea/tick protection, health exam at local veterinary clinic, collar,leash, 50% discount on spay/neuter. Altering is done at the time of adoption, prior to the pet going home.
There is an application for adoption, a 24 hour hold and an adoption contract.

We are located in Williamsburg, VA. Our adoption center is open 6 days a week from 12 noon - 4:30 pm, and we are closed on Mondays for deep clean.
