My name is Amber!

History: Amber is a beautiful girl who arrived to rescue with zero confidence and in rough shape. It broke our hearts but we were so thankful when a loving foster family stepped forward to help her. She is working hard on her trust and confidence and hopes to find a patient family soon!

A Note from the Foster: Amber is feeling a bit overwhelmed by life outside her kennel at times so she chooses to observe from within it. She likes to go outside if she can muster up the courage to get through the door. She’s likes patient and slow people who don’t ask anything from her. She is warming up to the idea of being pet but her timeline is long and slow. She has not shown any interest in interacting with other dogs. She does not chase our free range chickens which leads me to believe she should be good with cats. Amber is looking for a quiet home with a comfy kennel where she can feel safe as she learns what it’s like to be a dog.
