My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penny, a beautiful 10-month-old Shepherd mix from Texas who’s ready to find a patient, loving home. Weighing about 39 lbs, Penny turns heads with her tan coat, striking black-and-white facial markings, and warm brown eyes. Penny can be a little shy at first and may need a moment to feel safe with new people—but once she warms up (which does not take long!), her sweetness shines. She likes belly rubs and LOVES enthusiastic butt pats and scratches! She’s playful, treat and attention motivated, and walks very nicely on the leash. While Penny does like to play and go on walks with other dogs, she would prefer to be the only pet in the home. No cats either please :) This sweet girl is truly wonderful and loving and can`t wait to find her forever family!
