History: Goldy is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon!
A Note from the Foster: Goldy is a quiet, sweet-natured girl who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She came to us in rough shape, and while she’s made progress, she’s still adjusting and will need a calm, patient family to help her continue to build confidence.
Goldy does well with other small dogs and is also cat-friendly. She’s not a fan of fast movements and can be skittish, so a home without children is best. She’s learning to walk on a leash, though she sometimes prefers to choose her own direction.
She’s not currently crate-trained and prefers to sleep on the couch. She’s working on house training and does go outside, but still has accidents indoors.
Goldy thrives when she can be near her person and is happiest just quietly shadowing you around the house. She’s not high-energy and doesn’t need a lot of activity—just time, understanding, and a safe space to continue healing.
If you’re someone who can offer consistency, patience, and a quiet environment, Goldy could be the perfect companion for you.
