My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penny, a girl with a heart as big as the Texas plains she left behind, and ready to take on the world with her new family! This dignified lady has a heart of gold and a playful side that will keep you on your toes. Penny is incredibly smart and protective, always keeping an eye out for her loved ones. She's a natural-born leader with a funny, goofy side that will keep you laughing. With her background as a great mommy, Penny is now ready for her own forever home where she can be the center of attention and showered with love. She's tidy, reliable, and crate-trained, making her an ideal companion for any family. Penny is young and young at heart and has so much love to give. She's eager to find her people and start a new chapter, full of adventures and fun. Could you be the one to give this wonderful girl the home she deserves?

More about this rescue

At One Dog Rescue, we are changing the world for one dog at a time. We specifically focus on pulling animals who are at high risk for euthanasia, particularly in shelters that practice heart stick euthanasia. We are a 501(c)3 organization and always in need of donations to help cover veterinary and transportation costs! Since we are volunteers, we appreciate your patience, but we do try to respond to inquiries promptly. One dog at a time, we are making a difference.
