When Cheecho arrived at the shelter on 8/31/25 he was very thin and undernourished which required further investigation by the police. He has been thriving and the police hold has been released, so Cheecho is ready to be adopted and eagerly waiting to meet his forever family. He is just a handsome bundle of sweetness. He is playful and smart. He readily responds to multiple commands, including sit, stay, and down.
Cheecho is 6 years old and weighs 42 pounds. He is neutered and microchipped. He is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heart worms. Please stop by to meet this cute guy in run 413; his ID # is 13287.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
