I adopted Oliver from a breeder in Georgia in 2020. His papers say he is a mini Aussie. However, he is a 55 pound bundle of energy.
Oliver enjoys sitting in my lap while I have my morning coffee, and is a great companion for snuggling up and watching movies. He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war, and take long walks. He loves to play with other dogs, as well.
Due to an injury and and unpredictable work schedule, I cannot ensure Oliver gets the exercise he needs. He loves visiting the farm I grew up on in Kentucky, where he gets to run all day. My yard is not big enough for him to do this, and with my physical limitations, I cannot with any regularity, take him on long walks every day.
Oliver would thrive in a home that has a large yard or on a farm. He is somewhat food, aggressive, and would do best in a home where there are not small children.
Oliver has been my constant companion for 5 years, and I love him dearly. The decision to rehome him is heartbreaking, but necessary.
