To say that Bellanova doesn’t like other pets is a bit of an understatement. She REALLY doesn’t like them.
Bellanova suffers from anxiety, and does best when on medication (she was previously on gabapentin, and it worked very well for her). Her previous owner loved her dearly, but could no longer take care of her, so they brought her to AAC. We would LOVE to get her into a real home, either through adoption or through foster (she does best with women).
Her owner told us that Bellanova is playful, talkative, independent, and high energy. She will give hard love bites when she’s overstimulated. Due to her anxiety, she is afraid of almost everything, and when she is startled, she is likely to attack. As long as she is on medication, she is well-behaved.
Bellanova must go to a home with no other pets and a very cat-savvy adopter.
I am a DHC, and I have my own webpage!
The adoption fee is waived for Bellanova and all Desperate Housecats!
