My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🚨 URGENT – SPUD NEEDS A SAFE PLACE!

Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler)
Dog-friendly • Sweet boy • Living outside

Meet Spud, a gorgeous Blue Heeler whose world is about to fall apart. His owner can no longer keep him, and this sweet, loyal boy has been living outside with no real home or love. He deserves so much better.

Spud is everything people love about Heelers: smart, loyal, affectionate, and eager to be with his people. He is dog-friendly, loves attention, and lights up when someone spends time with him. Despite his situation, he remains gentle and loving. 💔

Spud urgently needs:
✔️ A family
✔️ A safe, warm, indoor home
✔️ Someone who will give him the love and stability he’s lacking

He’s a beautiful soul who just wants to belong. Please don’t let this good boy end up homeless — Spud deserves his chance.

More about this rescue

Arcadia Animal Rescue is a foster-based rescue comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to saving the lives of animals that are at-risk either in shelters or in our communities, and placing them into safe and loving foster or adoptive homes.

As a 501c3 organization that receives no federal funding, we rely on the generosity of donors in order to provide life-saving veterinary care, spay and neuter, behavioral assessments and modification, emergency boarding, and transport to foster/adoptive homes.

Our philosophy is that rescue is a partnership. Together, our fosters, adopters, donors, supporters, and volunteers make this life-saving mission possible!
