Chiquita is a sweetheart who is ready for her forever home! She is currently in a foster home in an apartment setting. She is a lower energy dog. Never had an accident. Not destructive. Fine home alone while her foster mom works her 9-5 job. Very friendly and loves everyone she's met. She loves lounging outside and short walks. She's a fan of hanging out on the couch & watching TV with her foster-mom. She gets bursts of energy in the evening where she may want to play. She was recently watched by a foster sitter with a 4 year old and 8 year old child who also has a young medium sized dog & senior small dog & Chiquita did great there! She would do well in a lot of different home environments. She came in to the shelter with another dog who she'd previously been living with but he has already been adopted. Chiquita is a very adaptable lady who would love her forever home. She is advocated for by ClassicCaninesATX who are helping to make bridges out of shelters for displaced mature pets.
