My name is Olive!

Hi there new friend! My name is Olive. Im a 2-year-old, Blue Fawn Olde English Bulldogge, that means I look a bit like an English Bulldog, but Im long and lean. Think bully sport mode. I also have beautiful green hazel eyes that I love to look at you lovingly with. I started life as a breeding dog, but I guess I wasnt very good at my job, so lucky me- I got to retire! Now Im reliving the puppyhood that I didnt get the 1st time around. I like to explore my world with my mouth, because everything is new to me- but I would never hurt a fly on purpose. Im getting better about exploring with my nose and not my mouth. Ive also learned that when people say leave it that they dont want me to have something. Im so smart and Im learning what makes my foster people happy everyday. I hope my forever family will help me continue to learn and become the perfect house pup. What I dont have to learn is how to be affectionate and loving, because I already know all that really important stuff! I also love to run and jump and play, and boy can I run fast! My foster parents laugh at my gymnastics everyday, and say that I have a happy-go-lucky personality. I try hard to use the potty outside, but I havent mastered the leash yet. I dont really understand that Im tethered to you. I have a backyard here, but Im working on understanding a leash walk too. Im a quiet girl, and I havent really used my voice here at all. I also sleep happily in my crate all night. I need to get my beauty sleep for more zoomies. Ive been getting along well with the other dogs here, and I like all people too, but small people might be harder for me. Im just not the carefulest of girls yet. So, whatcha think?
