This helps Carolina Coonhound Rescue with pet care costs.
Reba was surrendered to a rural shelter with several other hounds. She is shy and gets scared easily from any suddent noises but his opening up. She is learning what it's like to be loved in her foster home and has an amazing hound howl! She loves to play with the other dog in her foster home and seems to be medium energy. We are not sure about her past but based on the chemical burn scars down her back, she was not treated nicely. Reba is new to the rescue and we will update her bio as we learn more about her.
**This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment.
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application. We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter. If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes.
Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization. We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower. If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received.
