My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NAME:  Scottie
Approx Birth Date:  08/20/2025

BREED:  Domestic Shorthair, Orange Tabby

Meet Scottie (and his brother) Pippen – The Dynamic Duo of Joy!

14-week-old bonded brothers • Fully vetted • Microchipped • FeLV/FIV negative • Fostered in Conway, AR
Must be adopted together

If you’ve ever wished for kittens who brighten a room just by walking into it, Scottie (white paws & chest) and Pippen (classic orange tabby) are here to make that dream real. Born in mid-August to a semi-feral mama, these boys have grown into the most joyful, people-loving, dog-adoring pair you’ll ever meet.

Personality: Two Flavors of Sunshine

Scottie and Pippen are rambunctious, endlessly playful, and powered entirely by purrs. Their days revolve around a simple cycle:
Run → pounce → play → dash to a human or dog for cuddles → purr wildly → repeat.
They bring pure, uncomplicated happiness everywhere they go.

  • Scottie is the little gentleman with white socks and a white chest—curious, affectionate, and always up for a cuddle session.

  • Pippen, his slightly bolder twin-in-spirit, is an all-orange live-wire—fearless, goofy, and convinced that every household object is a toy invented exclusively for him.

Together? They’re unstoppable joy machines.

Dog Approved & Kid Approved

These boys don’t just tolerate dogs—they love them.
They snuggle with their foster’s pup, play chase games, curl up beside her for naps, and follow her around like she’s their big sister.

They also adore humans—kids, adults, visitors—everyone is a friend. These kittens are the definition of good-natured, loving, and forgiving.

Why They MUST Stay Together

Scottie and Pippen have been side-by-side since day one.
They sleep curled together, groom each other, team-attack feather toys, and seek reassurance from one another. Separating them would break both of their hearts—and honestly, watching them together is half the joy of adopting them.

Two kittens means:
easier adjustment
less destructive boredom
built-in companionship
double the entertainment, double the love

And trust us—they truly are more entertaining than TV, Facebook, or TikTok. You’ll laugh every day. Guaranteed.

Perfect Housemates

  • Robustly healthy

  • Fully vetted, vaccinated, and microchipped

  • Excellent litter box users

  • Get along with cats, dogs, kids, and all humans

  • Love being picked up and cuddled

  • Happy to be lap kittens the moment you sit down

  • Fearless and bold, but never obnoxious or rough

These boys make life fun. A tiny leaf? A toy. A wrinkle in a blanket? A toy. Your shoelace? A toy.
Their joy is contagious—you can't help but smile watching them explore their world.

Adopt Scottie & Pippen

If you bring these two brothers home, you won’t just be adopting kittens—you’ll be adopting daily laughter, a full heart, and two lifelong companions who think you’re the center of their universe.

Ready to meet your new best friends?
Scottie and Pippen are waiting in Conway, AR, to take turns purring in your lap.

More about this rescue

CLAWS is an incorporated 501(c)3 non-profit organization, operated 100% by volunteers with 30+ years of collective experience. We have a cooperative team of foster homes dedicated to rescue, fostering, healing, and spay/neutering cats and kittens, then adopting them into forever homes where they are cherished family members for the rest of their lives. We do not have a physical, single-location shelter facility.

CLAWS: Cats Lives Are Worth Saving is committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2018, we have been supporting our community in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts.

CLAWS if primarily based in central Arkansas, but we do adopt cats to residents of the northeast US, mostly to Rhode Island and Connecticut. Due to state licensing and health department regulations, we are unable at this time to adopt cats to residents of Massachusetts. The cats adopted to northeast homes are sent via established, registered, and fully licensed pet transport agencies.
