What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Zeke in 2019, when he was around 9 months old. We were told in his first home he was abused as a puppy. When we got him, he has been surrendered to Humane Society and was living in foster home with cats and kids. He has lived with us since. We have 2 children and 1 other dog that Zeke lives with. Zeke is very good with our kids. He lets our oldest (3 years old) pet him and he doesn't bother our newborn. Zeke is part German Shepard and is good on walks and runs. Zeke takes monthly heartworm/flea prevention medicine and has not had any major medical issues since we adopted him. He is crate trained and knows how to sit and lay down. He learns very quickly.
With the arrival of our newborn baby we have not had the time to give him the exercise and attention he needs. We are looking for someone who has the time to take him on walks every day and has a yard for him to play in.
