Mabel is a beautiful kitten available for adoption who possesses a delightful combination of sweetness, gentleness, and high energy. While she loves to snuggle and be affectionate, she also has a powerful playful side. She's a dedicated athlete when it comes to chasing toys and will happily bat and pursue a stringy toy all around the room for hours on end.
Potential adopters should know that Mabel is quite shy at first and will be slow to warm up to strangers; this process of building trust can take up to a month. However, the patience is totally worth it. Once she feels safe and secure in her new home, she will transform into a devoted companion. She loves to express her hard-earned affection by sleeping right next to you all night, often curled up right on your legs. When she needs attention, she'll use the sweetest, tiniest meow noises to melt your heart.
Mabel's love must be earned with patience and time, but the deep bond you form will be incredibly rewarding. On top of loving her human, Mabel is also very fond of other cats and would especially thrive if she could be adopted along with her mother, Wendy. If you're ready for a kitten who needs a little time but gives immense love in return, Mabel could be your perfect match.
Interested in one of our cats/dogs? First step it to fill out the required adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our cats/dogs will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs-age appropriate), FeLV/FIV test (cats), microchipped, and current on vaccinations.
We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in foster homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval.

Meet some of our adoptable at the Frisco PetSmart Adopt-A-Pet center Friday-Sunday. Adoption counselors are available onsite at PetSmart most Saturdays & Sundays, 12-4 p.m. to conduct meet and greets and onsite adoptions. Please complete an online adoption application and someone will contact with you.

A team member will reach out to gather info, answer questions, schedule a meet & greet (if needed). Dogs may require a home visit.
Approve Application
Once the app is reviewed and interview conducted, the application will be approved if it is found the animal and adopter are a good match.
Sign Adoption Contract
Final step is to sign the contract, pay the adoption fee, and take your new furry family member home.
