Meet Diamond (a.k.a. Hope)!
Diamond—also known as Hope—is a stunning 3-year-old English Mastiff mix with a heart just as big as her 105-pound frame. This sweet girl was found as a stray and, despite never being reclaimed, her story took a hopeful turn when she went into foster care due to being severely emaciated. Thanks to plenty of love and care, Diamond is now back, healthier than ever, and ready to find a forever home of her own. Diamond is a gentle, affectionate soul who adores people, but she will need to be the only pet in her new home—she does not do well with cats or dogs. We are unsure how she does with children, so at this time, a home with kids 12 years and older would be the best fit to ensure everyone’s comfort. She is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and eager to begin her new life with the family she deserves. Diamond truly lives up to her name: she’s precious, resilient, and full of love. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a beautiful comeback story and an even more beautiful heart, Diamond may be the perfect match. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
