Woody is a 3-year-old, 6-pound reddish Pomeranian with the energy of a sparkler and the personality of a joyful little rascal. He is always on the move and approaches life with full enthusiasm. If there is fun to be had, Woody is already in the middle of it.
He gets along well with other dogs, though he definitely likes to be the boss during play. Size means nothing to him. He will climb right up on any dog, big or small, convinced he runs the show. He ignores cats completely, rides well in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. At home, he is the mealtime alarm clock. When he thinks it is time to eat, he lets you know.
Woody came into rescue without any potty training, but he has made great progress. As long as he is taken out regularly, he does really well. After his zoomies and adventures, he loves to settle down for cuddles and be a sweet, affectionate boy. Woody would thrive with an active family or another playful dog who can keep up with his energy.
He recently had a dental with six teeth removed, but he eats his dry food without any trouble. His exam notes show no medical concerns beyond the dental extractions.
Woody is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, dental with extractions, vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and fecal testing. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
Woody is located in Houston, TX, and his adoption fee is $650.
