My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐰 Meet Radish and Bean Sprout (Bonded)

Radish and Bean Sprout are a sweet, inseparable pair of 3-month-old Holland Lop/Rex mixes who balance each other out perfectly.

Radish is the little explorer of the two, always the first to hop forward and investigate something new. She's brave enough for both of them and loves showing Bean Sprout that the world is something to be excited about.

Bean Sprout, on the other hand, is a gentle soul. She's a bit shy at first and appreciates a moment to observe her surroundings before joining in. But once she feels safe, her sweetness shines, and she becomes incredibly affectionate. With Radish by her side, she gains confidence day by day.

These girls are partly litter trained, which is wonderful progress for their age! With consistent setup, positive reinforcement, and patience, they're well on their way to becoming fully litter trained.

Together, they make the perfect harmony of bold and tender

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort
