My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Zeus is in the process of being adopted!*

Age: 4 years
Weight: 41.6 kilogram / 91.71 lbs

A little bit about Zeus:
- kids okay, older recommended due to size and arousal levels
- no cats or small animals in the home
- dogs unknown, potential for select other dog in the home pending successful dog-to-dog

Meet Zeus, the calm, adorable, sweet boy of your dreams who came to us through no fault of his own and is now looking for his forever home! Zeus is really just a big goof looking for a place to call his own and explore! He can get quite excited when going to new places and must see everything happening around him! This good boy loves to meet new people but can get jumpy, so making sure his forever home can help him work on his friend-making skills would be ideal! With his beautiful fluffy coat, Zeus will need to be groomed regularly to keep him as handsome as can be! Think you`re ready for Zeus to rule your home? Come say hi today!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
