My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Guppy: The Sweet Boxer/Pit Mix with a Heart Full of Love!

Guppy is a compact boxer/pit mix who was rescued from a difficult situation, having been found emaciated and tied up outside. This sweet 3-year-old boy is now thriving with the care and compassion he's received and is ready to find a loving and permanent home. Despite a rough start, Guppy is a sweet and slightly anxious boy who simply needs reassurance and love to know he won’t be left alone again. He has done well with both cats and dogs in his previous environment, although there were minor altercations with one out of the three dogs.

- **Current Foster Home:** Recently returned to his original rescuer for fostering, Guppy is thriving. He enjoys going on walks and is coexisting better with the other dogs.

At approximately 40 pounds, Guppy is petite but with an enormous personality. He's the perfect blend of compact size and big-hearted charm. Guppy would do best in a home where he can continue to receive the love and reassurance he deserves. He will thrive in an environment where he isn't left alone for long periods and has the company of either humans or pets he gets along with. Guppy does have a tendency to act entitled at times, and will get jealous of other animals soaking up attention that should be for him. While he can coexist with dogs, he would do better in a home without other dogs.  If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic companion with lots of love to give, Guppy could be your perfect match.
