Meet Orla, a young cat with a spirit of independence and a curious mind. In her cozy corner of the shelter, Orla explores every nook with wide-eyed wonder, yet she often retreats to her safe space when she feels overwhelmed. Her shy nature makes her a gentle presence, quietly observing her surroundings and those who pass by. Orla seeks a forever home where her curiosity can be nurtured and her need for quiet companionship understood. Adopting Orla means giving her the loving environment she needs to thrive.

More about this shelter
We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
