My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

B.C. is an affectionate eight-month-old male kitty with a big heart and an even bigger desire to cuddle. His devotion was so wholehearted that he became a constant companion—so much so that he often found himself right underfoot, lovingly trailing after his favorite human everywhere they went. Realizing that B.C. would thrive with a younger family able to keep up with his enthusiastic companionship, his finder decided to help him find a new home filled with love and attention. Sweet-natured B.C. blends easily into any environment and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and other cats. With his friendly spirit and love for people, B.C. is sure to be a delightful addition to any family looking for a loyal and loving feline friend.

We are located in Priest River right on the main highway (Highway 2) and attend as many adoption events as we can each year. We have several fund raisers and you can learn about them on our website

More about this rescue

We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being euthanized. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.
