I was surrendered by my family because of allergies. The nice people at Taylor Jones Humane Society are taking good care of me. They tell me I'm sweet. I don't know about that, but I like to play. If you could come get me, we could play together.

Adoption application, animals to be returned to us if it doesn't work out. Fees are $100.00 for dogs and $75.00 for cats.

More about this shelter

We are the only 100% No-Kill Shelter in Abilene and have been around for over 50 years. We are run by volunteers that love caring for dogs and cats that have no homes. We believe in spaying and neutering to reduce the number of animals being euthanized. Because of this, we do not allow any animal old enough to be spayed or neutered to be adopted until the procedure is done. We do not have an Urgent list. We have a Forever list. We work with our animals to prevent them from getting kennel stress.
