If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Jack was born on an Amish farm June 7, 2020. He is a Toy Fox Terrier (but no papers). He is very affectionate and loves to sleep on the bed with me (in his bed). He’s very friendly and loves everyone that he meets. He jumps up in the air and talks to greet everyone. He is very playful and loves his toys! He’s a definitely a companion dog, loves to cuddle up & sit on my lap or just follow me around the house.
At 2 1/2 years old he began having seizures. It’s under control as long as he’s takes his medication (refilled monthly) 2 X daily, 12 hours apart. He must have blood tests every 3 months to check that his medication levels are good.
All immunizations are up to date. He does have a grass allergy. He’s ok as long as he’s not outside too long. He can be out longer but must have feet washed.
I’ve had major surgery and can’t work. With a minimal income, I can’t afford to keep him. I do this with a heavy heart. He needs a loving family who can afford to care for him properly.
