He’s the perfect blend of goofy, gentle, playful, and incredibly smart; the kind of dog who makes every day brighter.

Rome is a little work of art: one warm brown eye, one icy blue eye, and a beautiful coat of silver gray, creamy tan, and soft brown. His markings are so striking that people stop his foster on walks to admire him.
PERSONALITY
° Rome is sweet, affectionate, snuggly, and loves being part of a pack. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and warms up quickly to new people.
° He is a belly-rub enthusiast. If you walk toward him, he immediately flops over, rolls onto his back, and lifts his leg like he’s politely requesting, “Right there, please.”
° He enjoys long walks and currently does about two miles a day. He’s playful, loves toys, and can magically find the squeaker in any stuffed animal.
° Smart and Trainable
° Rome is exceptionally intelligent and learns very quickly. He’s eager to please and easy to train.
One of his cutest habits: when his foster sits down at her computer to work, Rome goes straight to his place and settles on his own—no reminders needed.
