Mel is a gentle three-and-a-half-year-old girl who came to us after her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She may be shy at first, but once she learns she can trust you, Mel becomes a sweet, affectionate companion. She loves curling up in her tiny cubby for cozy naps, and when she’s ready, she’ll come find you for pets and attention. Mel is looking for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe, loved, and understood.

We like to discuss your wants, needs, and expectations. We contact your vet for references. We can do video chat for home visit, and then have you meet the cat or cats of your choice.

More about this rescue

We take in fully vetted cats from shelters and rescues, as well as individuals in need. Cats must be spayed/neutered, leukemia tested negative, and have current rabies, FVRCP, and leukemia shots. We house the cats with love and care until adopted.
