Hi, I’m Aprilia. I’m beautiful and turn heads everywhere I go. But there is more to me than just a pretty face. If you think you might be my furever home, here is what it takes to win my heart with love and patience:
• I’m shy and discerning but I will warm up. Give me a few days to get used to my new home and humans.
• I’m potty trained! I will go to the door when I need to go outside.
• I like having a crate but prefer for you to keep it open so I can go inside when I need a break. I don’t like being locked up.
• Other dogs and cats? I don’t mind. I get along and will typically practice active ignoring for the first few days.
• I’m learning to walk on a lead and, with practice and patience, I’ll be your companion on walks.
• I’m a good eater, especially if you put a little broth in my food.
• I wasn’t paid attention to and don’t know how to play. Would you be the human to teach me?
• I’m scared of loud noises and will try to run away. When my foster corrects her dogs or gets loud (football), I try to find a way out of the room.
• I would love a calm environment with a predictable routine. Chaos and I don’t get along.
Put in an application and come meet me!
