Sojourn, affectionately called Sojie, turned up at a Magicats foster home one chilly fall night, lost, scared, and very unhappy, but persuaded by a colony kitten that this was safe space, she took a chance. She's well settled in, making friends with the other kitties, enjoying adult laps (and good food) Now with a full tummy, she's demonstrating nice manners and excellent House Living skills. Also, she's ready for a new adventure. She'll need a quiet, hands on adult household (no small children, please); older children should be patient and cat experienced. Familylcats should be polite and friendly. We don't know about dogs, so they should be polite, cat-neutral, and introduced carefully. She loves toys, windows, exploring, and sharing long, detailed pesonal stories, reminding us how beautiful she is. A lot of personality here, just waiting to be unlocked. Like to meet her? We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.
Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.
Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.

We are a small and devoted group of volunteers who started this organization in 2010. Our goal is to find homes for as many cats and kittens as we are physically and financially able to do. We have no facility and all of our pets are cared for in loving foster homes. We do as much as we can with the funds from adoption fees, donations and contributions from all of our volunteers.
