Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, we’re looking to rehome our dog Cooper. We adopted him from a foster because we’d always wanted a medium-to-large dog, and it’s been quite an experience.
Cooper is a 7-month-old Pitbull mix. He’s a good, smart dog, and we want to be very up front about him.
He has had a few biting incidents with our small dog and with two adult family members. There were no serious injuries, and it seems to happen when he gets overly excited and overstimulated. Because of this, we’ve been doing training with a pitbull trainer and working on his commands and impulse control. The trainer is happy to speak with anyone interested in Cooper and share his feedback on him.
Outside the home, Cooper is great on walks at the park and we haven’t had any problems there.
Sadly, because of these incidents and our current family setup, we can’t keep him. We truly believe he needs someone more experienced with strong, high-energy breeds and someone who can help him channel his energy.
