Meet McRib — the spunky snack-sized kitten delight!
Don’t let his slightly visually impaired eye fool you… this boy can absolutely see when it’s time to play! McRib zooms, pounces, and wrestles like a tiny pro, especially with his foster brother, Big Mac. The combo meal is strong with those two.
McRib is a social butterfly who would love a dog or cat buddy to romp around with and then snuggle up against for naps. And he adores people — every morning he sprints to his foster dad for pets… which may or may not be because breakfast is involved. No judgment.
He’s also a certified purr factory, operating at full volume whenever he’s happy (which is often).
Sweet, silly, and bursting with heart, McRib is ready to serve up love in his forever home.

Henrico Humane Society is an all-volunteer, foster-based,
non-profit organization that rescues dogs and cats from
across Central Virginia and places them in loving, forever
homes.
HHS has saved hundreds of animals each year since
1991. Many of the dogs and cats we rescue come from
shelters in rural areas where they have fewer adoption
opportunities. The majority of the animals in our care live
with foster parents until they find a permanent home.
We don't have a shelter and most of our animals live in foster homes until they're adopted, which allows us to get to know their personality and temperament.
