My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor Only*

Bonded with Boots

Sandal is a very sweet girl who loves to snuggle up next to you in bed and hang out watching TV when she is not playing. Sandal has a cloudy and chronic weepy eye; this small flaw has made her journey to a forever home a little more bumpy. She is seeking that special person or family who will look past her cloudy eye and see into her kind soul and open the door to her forever home. She loves to play and Boots is her big brother and protector, so if you are looking for two kittens, they would be forever grateful to come live with you. Don't forget the wand toys, Sandal may have a bad eye, but she never misses getting that fly by toy in midair.

Adoption fee for both: $175 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
