DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Nutella! Nutella is a sweet Aussie mix (best guess!) with a soft heart and a playful spirit. This young girl found herself in an overcrowded shelter in Lexington, NC, but her luck soon changed when K-9 Lifesavers scooped her up and brought her north to find the forever family she deserves. Nutella is friendly, social, and so easy to love. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine companion in her new home—or plenty of neighborhood dog buddies to romp around with. She’s at a great age for training and socialization, eager to learn and ready to blossom with the right family. If you're looking for a loving, happy pup to join your life, Nutella may be your girl.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
