This helps Heartland Small Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Now just over a year old, Mary Ellen most likely started her life as a feral or displaced kitten. But she made a good choice when she chose to hang around the home of one of our fosters. It took a bit, but she eventually decided to chum up to him. Next thing he knew, she decided to become an indoor kitty. Mary Ellen did not care for the resident cats, so is ready to move on to a forever home of her own. She likes being petted, and will rub against your legs to tell you she wants attention. Her beautiful black coat, with just a touch of gray, will need occasional grooming.
