Edgar Allen Poe—affectionately known as Poe—is a 2.5-month-old brown tabby and white boy with a soft, sweet face and eyes that could melt the iciest heart. Calm, loving, and delightfully snuggly, Poe is the definition of a lap kitten. If there’s a warm spot on your legs or a cozy blanket nearby, he’ll be curled up and purring in no time.
Poe does beautifully with other cats and feels most secure with feline friends. His closest buddy is his brother Jinx, and the two share a strong, soothing bond. He absolutely needs another kitty in his future home to keep him confident, social, and content. Poe has been around dogs as well—he’s still cautious and gives a polite hiss to maintain his personal space, but with time and gentle introductions, he’ll adjust. He’s also been around older kids and is sweet toward everyone he meets.
Though laid back by nature, Poe has a sneaky streak of mischief that makes him irresistible. He’ll occasionally find himself in silly situations, and his gentle antics will keep you smiling. He loves balls, foil crinkles, and simple toys that engage his curious mind. When he plays, it’s thoughtful and measured—and when he’s done, he’s right back to being a cuddle bug.
