Meet Potato — the Sweetest Tiny Spud You’ll Ever Love!
Potato is a young male kitten with soft brown-and-cream stripes and a heart as big as his adorable name. He has been in foster care since he was a 3 week old baby! He may be small, but don’t let his size fool you—this little guy has lots to say, especially when it’s mealtime! Potato is incredibly food-motivated and won’t hesitate to remind you when dinner is late.
When he’s not chatting about snacks, Potato is all about affection. He absolutely loves to be held, snuggled, and spoiled with forehead kisses. He melts right into your arms like the cuddliest little love bug, soaking up all the warmth and attention you can give.
Playtime is another of Potato’s favorite things. He zips around with full kitten enthusiasm, wrestling, chasing, and pouncing—especially with his beloved brother, Pumpkin. These two bring out the very best in each other and would be overjoyed to find a home together.
Potato is a perfect, perfect boy who will bring joy, laughter, and endless affection into your life. If you're looking for a pair of kittens who are equal parts silly, snuggly, and sweet, Potato (and Pumpkin!) are ready to fill your home with love.
Consider adopting Potato and Pumpkin together—they’re truly the cutest team.

The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around December 5th, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet.
Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care.
We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport.
Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption.
We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason.
