Sweet gal Miss Ore-Ida came to TCR when she was found outdoors as a stray. It didn't take us long to realize that this girlie is a friendly kitty - she loves to plow into you with her head and roll all over. Ore-Ida loves pets, DELICIOUS FOOD, and being the center of attention. She was 100% made to be an indoor cat!
Ore-Ida has been fostered with other cats and does well with other chill kitties, but she can be a touch of a bully (especially if anyone stands in the way of her receiving the attention she so desperately craves). She'd likely do just fine as a solo cat, or adopted into a home with other chill cats who aren't up in her face too much. She is easy to handle and would probably do just fine with respectful kiddos of any age.
Ore-Ida's name comes from her crinkly ears, this is what can happen when itchy/infected ears go untreated too long. Ore-Ide'a ears have been treated with TCR, but additional monitoring may be needed to ensure that they stay clean and clear. Ore-Ida is estimated to be about two years old. She has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Please apply for this sweet companion kitty today!

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
